Mt. Adams, The Fall Colors

With this post about Mt. Adams, I’m going to focus on the fall colors.  At the end of September the fall colors in the Cascades are peaking and the skies are generally deep blue.  The air is cool and crisp and everything is preparing for winter.  Fall to me is a time of reflection on the past year, relaxing and getting excited for my favorite season: Winter!

There were no huckleberries to my surprise in an area normally full of them.  Maybe the bears have eaten them all?  Poor summer?  More to come of the fabulous views and sunset/sunrise to come….EE
