Nature’s Art: Dinosaur National Monument (Part 2)

Continuing on from my previous post, I’ll let the images do most of the talking this time.  I can’t wait to get back to this beautiful place to photograph more, to spend more time and hopefully “see” more.  Until then, here are a few more images.

Enjoy!  EE

  1. This really is a wonderful place. Seeing layers that were once horizontal now vertical is always so incredible! I love geology 🙂 Did you get to the museum when you were there? I have never seen such an incredible display of fossils, I love how they built the museum around the bones.
There is such beautiful movement to your images here, they are like lovely pieces of art, nature at it’s best, folding, molding and shaping rock…so powerful. Thank you for sharing.

    • Carrie, thanks for the comment! I didn’t make it to the museum this time but I will on my next visit. I actually didn’t see any fossils this trip! There is so much to see there and we had an amazing time exploring a few different areas of the Monument. We got lucky and it was free over President’s Day weekend too! Thanks again and I can’t wait to get back!!
